The concept of dining in the dark originated in Europe and since then has traveled the world from restaurants in Asia, Los Angeles and beyond.

As you will have guessed from the name, American Outback’s Dining in the Dark is a program delivered in tandem with a meal. It takes a potentially boring group meal to a whole new level ....a dining adventure! It is the perfect option to distinguish an event where there will be a meal scheduled. This program can be delivered in a number of different environments and can accommodate any type of diet. We can deliver this program at ANY meal, but we do suggest that you make interesting menu choices in order to create the maximum impact.

During this pitch black (and we mean black… no lights of any kind are allowed in the dining area) culinary adventure you’ll discover a feast for your senses. With your dominant sense on hold, your remaining senses heighten as you move through each course, allowing you to experience smells, tastes and sounds like never before. Participants will have the opportunity to interact with each other and share what they are experiencing as they try something that is truly unique.
