Bring a bit of the Olympics to your city! In this Olympic themed event, teams of 5 will compete against each other, using their brains and brawn to navigate their way through the city and taking on various Olympic-related physical and cerebral challenges along the way.

At the beginning of the event, all participants will assemble for the Opening Ceremonies. The Olympic anthem will be played and the outline for the event will be presented by the Head Olympic Official. The Athlete’s Oath will be taken by all participants and then all teams will receive an ‘Athletes Package’, including instructions for the game, an ‘Olympic Passport’, maps, and various other supplies that teams will find useful in their quest. Teams will have approximately 2.5 hours to complete as many challenges as possible before making their way to the finish line. Teams are scored and prizing awarded at the Closing Ceremony.
Each team will receive an ‘Urban Olympic Passport’, a book which outlines 12 tasks, each with varying levels of difficulty and points to be earned. The Passport will highlight past Olympic games and feature locations and information on the upcoming 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and Whistler. Bronze Level challenges are not difficult to complete and will therefore earn the teams less points than a Gold Level challenge. The challenges will take the teams throughout the city and take place at both indoor and outdoor locations.
At each challenge teams will encounter an activity or action that must be completed in order to earn their points. Each page in the Passport need to be stamped with the supplies that have been left in the secure lock box or authorized by the onsite Olympic Official before points are awarded and the team can move on to the next challenge. The teams do not have to complete the challenges in any particular order and not all the challenges are mandatory. Teams must work together to decide the best strategy for acquiring the highest possible points in the allotted time frame and assign responsibilities based on personal proficiencies and existing skills.
The team that turns in the Passport with the highest score will be declared the Gold Medalists and will be awarded medals and certificates denoting their achievement.
“Thanks to you and your team for such a fun, well organized event. We really appreciated the professionalism and the organization of your team. The event went perfectly and there were no hiccups. The event was well structured to accommodate both a fun day and a sense of competition (our group is very competitive). I've had lots of comments back from the participants informing me that they had a lot of fun. I think this event was exactly what we needed, to have some friendly competition and some time away from the office."
