 GPS Geocache challenge Team Building Activity

Involve your team in a competitive high-tech, modern-day treasure hunt. Teams are given GPS units that are pre-programmed with navigational information for each location, called Waypoints. Utilizing the GPS units and designated team skills, each team collaborates to find these locations and complete a series of activities at each location.
Each Waypoint location can vary from the simple to the very challenging. To navigate to each Waypoint the team must create a plan, execute it, and reach the final goal utilizing their pre-designated skills. With the aid of the American Outback Adventures & Events Hosts, this becomes an amazing opportunity to observe team behavior and to discover what your team needs most to function at the next level. This experiential learning program will also highlight interesting locations surrounding your event location and is a lot of fun!
The Geocaches in this program can take many forms. For example, teams may be looking for a buried item on a sandy beach or a hidden dry bag hanging from a tree, or can take the form of a lock box containing a challenge the team must complete, or even a staff member with instructions to complete a physical activity. The form of the Cache depends on the environment in which the event is run and is subject to change.
