“The most enjoyable aspect of the Apprentice program was witnessing the energy evolution that took place in the room. Our group really got into the task at hand and started thinking outside of the box and working as a team to achieve a common goal; much like how our co-operative is structured. Feedback from those attending was very encouraging and positive. The team session enabled them to learn from their peers and experience looking at a project from different perspectives. A lot of our members have been in business for many years and doing things “their way”; so the challenge of having to work with and take advice from others may have seemed difficult at first but evolved into a positive and fun experience; this surprised many of them! I feel The Apprentice was well worth the money and I would (and will) recommend American Outback Adventures in the future. Event Coordinator, California (Contract Position)

We are seeking qualified event planners to work on a contract basis to plan and implement events in California.

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Planning, logistics and implementation
  • On site event coordination
  • Budgeting and expense management
  • Liaison with suppliers and clients
  • Support for sales and marketing team

Remuneration:

On a per event project basis.

Qualifications:

  • Established event planner with background in operating special events
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Public speaking experience
  • Team building experience an asset
  • Computer skills in all Microsoft Office programs mandatory
