“The most enjoyable aspect of the Apprentice program was witnessing the energy evolution that took place in the room. Our group really got into the task at hand and started thinking outside of the box and working as a team to achieve a common goal; much like how our co-operative is structured. Feedback from those attending was very encouraging and positive. The team session enabled them to learn from their peers and experience looking at a project from different perspectives. A lot of our members have been in business for many years and doing things “their way”; so the challenge of having to work with and take advice from others may have seemed difficult at first but evolved into a positive and fun experience; this surprised many of them! I feel The Apprentice was well worth the money and I would (and will) recommend American Outback Adventures in the future. Thanks to the entire American Outback Team for a well produced and very entertaining program!”

Tiff spent his younger years skiing the Ontario "Alps" and studying political science at Bishop's University to learn more about the world. This lead him to follow his passion for skiing and thirst for new challenges by traveling to Europe in 1990. He spent almost 10 years working in Great Britain with a retail winter sports outlet; in the Mediterranean as a windsurfing instructor; and in Meribel, France as the owner/operator of an established ski company. Eventually, his desire to return home and experience even more of the outdoors brought him to the Pacific Northwest, where he has lived since 2000. Skiing is still a passion but now he's discovered other pursuits the region has to offer, such as golfing, hiking and boating.
